Our surf rental offers a wide range of equipment for surfing and kitesurfing. In our Famara beach surf shop, we stock over 100 beginner boards, and approx. 50 intermediate boards (hard and soft) in a variety of sizes.

Our equipment is very important to us and our surfers. This is why we spend a lot of time and effort maintaining and caring for it. We regularly renew our equipment to keep up with the latest trends. Anyone who rents our boards, kites, or bikes. Whether you’re one of our students or not, is welcome to take them home to keep practicing. If you fall in love with it you can also talk to us about buying it.

BIKE RENTAL

MOUNTAIN BIKES AND BEACH CRUISER

Lanzarote is heaven for people that love to cycle! There are plenty of cycling tracks that go all over the island, with many of the passing through Famara. Whether you want to explore the gorgeous coastline, visit La Graciosa Island, or explore the sleeping volcanoes, the views and scenery are incredible every where you look.

There are routes for every level of bike rider, with routes taking you over volcanic terrain and some fun sand parts. There are tracks to suit every rider, it’s just about exploring and asking our friendly staff. The best tracks are those created for downhill, road bikes or cross country riding.

The Surf and Yoga Camp Bike Center in Lanzarote provides a selection of supreme beach cruisers, mountain bikes and helmets. The mountain bikes have strong aluminium frames with special wheels and contact pedals that can be attached if required. Please bring your own footwear – we don’t rent this out because of hygiene reasons.

Renting from us is straightforward: pop into the shop on the beach in Famara, tell our team your level and what conditions you’re expecting, and we’ll match you with the right board. Surf rental is available by the hour, the day, or the week, with better rates the longer you keep the equipment. Wetsuits, leashes, and fins are included with every board, so you don’t need to bring or buy anything extra. If you’re not sure which size or shape suits you, our staff surf these breaks daily and are happy to talk through your options before you head down to the water.

Famara’s wave is famous for being long and forgiving, which makes our surf rental fleet especially useful if you want to try a few different boards over a week rather than committing to one shape. Beginners often start on a soft-top foamie for stability, then move onto a longboard or funboard as their confidence grows. More experienced surfers tend to head straight for a shortboard when the swell picks up, since Famara can produce genuinely powerful waves on its day. Whatever your level, checking daily conditions with our team before you rent means you’ll walk away with a board that actually suits what the ocean is doing that morning, not just what looked good on the rack. Pop in the day before if you can, especially in peak season, so we can hold the right board for you rather than working from whatever’s left on the rack. Guests staying with us as part of a surf camp package can usually add on rental days at a discounted rate, so it’s worth asking when you book. Come find us on the beach and we’ll get you set up.
